How Agents Work:

An excerpt from the WWREA Brochure: 'When buying or selling real estate, you may find it helpful to have a real estate agent assist you. Real estate agents provide many useful services and can work with you in different ways. In some real estate transactions, the agent works for the seller. In others, the seller and buyer may each have their own agent. And sometimes the same agent works for both the buyer and the seller. It is important for you to know whether an agent is working for you as your agent or simply working with you while acting as an agent of the other party.
This Brochure addresses the various types of working relationships that may be available to you. It should help you decide which relationship you want to have with a real estate agent. It will also give you useful information about the various services real estate agents can provide buyers and sellers, and it will help explain how real estate agents are paid."
The NC Real Estate Commission requires that any individual coming in contact with a real estate agent understands the relationship they will have with that agent. Please read the brochure, and at your earliest convenience we will review this brochure in more detail and ask that you sign an acknowledgement that we've done so, as is required by the NC Real Estate Commission . Of course, if you have any questions about this brochure or any part of the real estate transaction, we are here to answer them.

A bit more detail...The Kemble Team, and all the agents at Go Realty, are licensed North Carolina Real Estate Brokers. Our agents are experienced professionals who can represent you whether you are buying or selling real estate.  We will discuss with you who we represent, whether it is the buyer or seller, and what our responsibilities include. Under all circumstances, we will disclose all material facts that we possibly can regarding a property.
We are happy to cooperate with this requirement and suggest that everyone interested in buying or selling real estate in North Carolina review the informative brochure, "Working With Real Estate Agents," that is published by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WWREA BROCHURE:

Is an agent working for the buyer or the seller?  You should know! We will discuss the different types of agency relationships and discuss what options would work best for each individual customer.

How do real estate agents get paid? Do I have to pay them and when does that happen?

How do I know that an agent is working for me?

What is 'Dual Agency'? (*Please note that The Kemble Team has decided to avoid representing both the buyer and the seller in a single transaction.  While this is allowable by the NC Real Estate Commission, we feel that it hampers our ability to serve our clients to the fullest extent.)

Whether you are buying or selling property, you can rely on us to abide by all rules and regulations as set forth by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Not only does this protect our ability to hold our real estate licenses and our livelihoods, but respected these rules and regulations also protect the interest of our clients.
